Dr. Katz was raised in Pennsylvania and completed his undergraduate studies at Penn State University and medical school at Jefferson Medical College. After completing medical school, he sought a change of scenery and completed hsi residency in New York City, followed by another year of fellowship training in Philadelphia. He has a particular interest in the area of prostate health (BPH and cancer) as well as kidney cancer. Dr. Katz was named a 5280 Top Doctor in 2019, 2023, 2024 and 2025.

Outside of work, Dr. Katz enjoys pending time with his family. He loves skiing, cooking and going to see live music.
