Ivo W. Tremont, MD, FEBN, FAAN

Ivo W. Tremont, MD, FEBN, FAAN, is a five-specialty board-certified neuro-oncologist who obtained his medical degree from Universidad de Los Andes, Mérida, Venezuela. He completed a neuro-oncology fellowship at the University of Texas-M.D. Anderson Cancer Center under the mentorship of Victor Levin, WK Yung, and Mark Gilbert. Dr. Tremont was the assistant director of the Kenneth R. Peak Brain and Pituitary Tumor Center at Houston Methodist in Houston, TX. He has had extensive experience as a clinician educator serving as a faculty member at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC; the Louisiana State University in New Orleans, LA, and at the University of Texas-MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. Dr. Tremont has an extensive portfolio of published works in peer-reviewed journals, and he serves as a peer reviewer for medical publications.
