Jenissa Leite, PA-C

Jenissa Leite, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant who graduated from AdventHealth University in Orlando, FL, with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in clinical laboratory science from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, TN. Since 2021, Jenissa has worked as a physician assistant in the Orlando area, seeing 16-25 patients a day. She began her career as a medical technologist in Palm Coast in 2011. Jenissa is passionate about providing whole-person care to her patients, treating body, mind and spirit.

Some of my personal interests include spending quality time and dining with family and friends, reading the Bible and other books that help me maintain my personal health and well-being, and growing fruits, veggies and flowers in my garden.

As a certified physician assistant, the key components of my care philosophy include always approaching patients with empathy and compassion, while understanding their individual needs, concerns, and circumstances. I engage in active listening to ensure that my patients feel heard and understood, which builds trust and improves care outcomes. I continuously update my knowledge and skills based on the latest medical research and guidelines. Lastly, I work collaboratively with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, considering the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of my patients.
