John Croom, MD, PhD is a board-certified Neurologist, certified in Neurology and Epilepsy, with AdventHealth Medical Group. Dr. Croom's clinical interests include treating patients with epilepsy and seizure disorders. He also serves as the Medical Director of AdventHealth’s Epilepsy Center. Dr. Croom graduated medical school from the MD/PhD Program at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He went on to complete his internship and residency in neurology at the Harvard Medical School Neurology Training Program/Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. He then completed a two-year epilepsy fellowship, also at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Croom has served in numerous leadership roles throughout the Kansas City metro area and continuous to be a thought leader in Neurology and Epilepsy.
