Biography

Sean Cavanaugh, MD, is a board-certified radiation oncologist who earned his Doctor of Medicine from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX, in 2000. He completed an internship in general pediatrics and the Leonard Holman Pathway Residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA). Dr. Cavanaugh completed advanced courses at the ESTRO School of Prostate Brachytherapy and the ESTRO School of Adaptive Gynecologic Brachytherapy in Europe and prostate brachytherapy training at the Seattle Prostate Institute in Seattle, WA. Most recently, Dr. Cavanaugh was a radiation oncologist at Baptist Healthcare in Delray Beach, FL. Previously, he served as Regional Medical Director at GenesisCare, Chair of Radiation Oncology and Director of Genitourinary Cancer at CTCA Southeastern Reginal Medical Center in Newnan, GA and Medical Director at American Professional Associates. He is the author of numerous professional publications and peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Cavanaugh has a passion for excellence and innovation, enhancing patient outcomes through leading-edge treatment methodologies.
