Biography: Dr. Glenda Parker, MD is a board-certified internal medicine physician specializing in primary and preventive care for adults 18 and better. She focuses on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of chronic diseases including diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, depression, obesity and thyroid disorders.
Dr. Parker earned her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Ga. She completed her internal medicine residency at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Md. After her residency, Dr. Parker continued to serve the Baltimore area, caring for veterans with uncontrolled diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia.
