Biography

Amanda Hubbard is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing comprehensive primary care to her community. With over five years of experience as a family nurse practitioner, Amanda brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice. 

Amanda's journey in the medical field began at Southeast Community College, where she took a CNA course that ignited her love for healthcare. She continued her education, earning an Associate of Science in Nursing from Southeast Community and Technical College, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from Lincoln Memorial University.

She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) and completed clinical rotations in women's health, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Amanda's professional experience includes serving as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Daniel Boone Family Healthcare, where she has practiced since 2020. Prior to this role, she worked as an Intensive Care Registered Nurse at Barbourville ARH and a Medical Surgical Licensed Practical Nurse at Knox County Hospital.

Growing up in a rural area, Amanda understands the unique healthcare needs of her community. Her deep-rooted connection to Appalachia drives her commitment to bridging healthcare disparities and providing high-quality care to her patients. Amanda's approach to primary care is holistic, focusing on comprehensive and preventive management to ensure her patients receive the best possible care.
