Biography: D.M. Deupree, M.D., F.A.S.R.S., is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in diseases of the vitreous and retina. His area of subspecialty includes medical and surgical management of macular disorders, diabetic retinopathy, complex retinal detachments, and trauma. Dr. Deupree's Clearwater, Florida practice, the Macula Center, which is now closed was primarily devoted to treatment of retina and macula. He also now has an office in Bayonet Point, where he continues to devote to the treatment of complex retina and macula disorders. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American College of Surgeons and The American Society of Retina Specialists. He has served as a clinical assistant professor at the University of South Florida and at Tulane Medical Center. In addition to the Macula Center and Retina Center Tampa Bay, Dr. Deupree also serves as a Founder and Director for Blue Ocean Clinical Research and founder and director of ClearVista Clinical Research, state-of-the-art research facilities. Dr. Deupree has been the principal investigator in over 50 clinical trials.
