Gwendolyn “Shelby” Rountree, PA-C, ATC, LAT, is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in orthopedic surgery. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Before that, Gwendolyn completed her Bachelor of Health Science in Athletic Training at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida, where she graduated summa cum laude. Most recently, she served as a physician assistant at UF Health Orthopedics at St. Johns Flagler Hospital, evaluating and managing surgical and non-surgical patients. She previously worked as an athletic trainer at Preferred Physical Therapy, specializing in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and injury prevention. She provides comprehensive, whole-person care that cares for the body, mind and spirit of every patient.
