Syed Jafri, MD, is a Board-certified gastroenterologist specializing in pancreatic diseases and advanced therapeutic endoscopy, including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and SpyGlass™ direct visualization. He performs complex procedures such as cyst drainage, HALO ablation and endoscopic mucosal resection. Dr. Jafri earned his medical degree from Dow Medical College in Pakistan and completed residency and fellowship at the University of Missouri-Columbia. A published author and educator, Dr. Jafri has served as a clinical instructor and has shared his knowledge through numerous articles and presentations. He is a fellow of the American Gastroenterology Association and a diplomat of the American Boards of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
