Srinivasa Sridhar, MD

Dr. Srinivasa Sridhar is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with over four decades of practice in the Daytona Beach-Port Orange community. He specializes in shoulder, hip and knee joint replacements, as well as arthroscopic surgery of the shoulders and knees. As a general orthopaedic surgeon, he also treats a wide range of upper and lower extremity issues, including trigger finger releases, carpal tunnel releases, tendonitis, and arthritis. Dr. Sridhar graduated medical school from the University of Bombay in 1971. He completed his surgical internship at Brookdale Hospital in New York, followed by an orthopaedic residency at the Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn. Dr. Sridhar pioneered anterior hip replacements and reverse shoulder replacements in East Volusia County. For over 30 years, he took trauma calls at Halifax Health. More recently, he took trauma calls at Bon Secours St. Francis in Greenville, South Carolina, treating a multitude of elderly patients with fragility fractures and younger patients with low-velocity trauma. Dr. Sridhar keeps up with the latest advancements by regularly attending seminars and conferences. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys spending time with his family and has a passion for traveling and visiting national parks.
