The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) has released its coveted results for 2023. AdventHealth earned top marks, including Level 10 achievement for IT in ambulatory settings and Level 9 for acute settings.
Among the tens of thousands of CHIME member facilities represented across 10 countries, AdventHealth ranked highly in categories like analytics and data management, population health, infrastructure, and patient engagement. The survey assessed the adoption, integration and impact of technologies in health care organizations at all stages of development, from early development to industry leading.
“We are proud to recognize AdventHealth’s exceptional dedication to digital health excellence,” said CHIME President and CEO Russell P. Branzell. “Your pioneering performance in the industry not only inspires other organizations by example, but also provides patients around the world with better care.”
The Digital Health Most Wired survey and recognition program serves as a comprehensive “Digital Health Check-up” for health care organizations across the world. As success in digital health increasingly determines the quality of patient care, the scope of the CHIME Digital Health Most Wired survey reflects the progress of leading health care providers as they reinvent health care for a new century.
The achievement reflects AdventHealth’s focus on continuous improvements to the health system’s digital experience, especially as consumer preferences within the ambulatory space transform to resemble consumer-centric retail and hospitality experiences.
“For the AdventHealth team to achieve CHIME’s Digital Health Most Wired Level 10 for ambulatory IT is a significant accomplishment given our Epic Transformation Journey over the past few years,” said Brent Snyder, chief information officer for AdventHealth. “This achievement is remarkable because it goes beyond the EMR and includes technology, security, analytics, revenue cycle systems, innovation and customer facing digital presence to support AdventHealth’s commitment to whole-person care.”
