AdventHealth’s Central Florida Division is growing rapidly from Flagler County to Osceola County, with a dozen construction projects underway to keep up with Florida’s skyrocketing population growth. A recent article from the Orlando Sentinel details AdventHealth’s growth strategy, and how the organization is meeting the health care needs of the growing Central Florida community.
The article highlights several of the current projects:

The training center is set to open this summer.
- AdventHealth Winter Garden inpatient tower – The new 80-bed full-service hospital is set to open in May. At completion, the five-story tower will have space for new services, including advanced gynecology, cardiology, gastroenterology, general surgery, neurology, spine health, colorectal and urology.
- AdventHealth Port Orange Health Park – The health park will expand access to care to Port Orange and Volusia County residents providing concierge-level service to deliver convenient health care close-to-home. The AdventHealth Port Orange Health Park will open in the fall.
- Innovation Tower – The 12-story, 300,000-square-foot tower will open in late 2022. The building is a focal point for AdventHealth’s flagship campus, rising next to I-4 near Princeton Street. It will serve as Florida headquarters for Rothman Orthopaedic Institute and will also serve as the office for Orlando Neurosurgery, the largest independent spine and brain health group in Florida. - AdventHealth ER at FLAMINGO CROSSINGS Town Center – The emergency room is part of AdventHealth’s renewed alliance with Walt Disney World Resort. The ER’s design and patient experience will be unique in the AdventHealth network, with Key West, Fla,- influenced architecture and Disney-inspired touches to enhance the patient experience. The new facility will open in 2023.
- AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway Hospital – Construction is currently underway at the 100-bed hospital in Palm Coast, making the single-largest health care investment in Flagler County. The hospital will open in 2023.
