AdventHealth Partners Welcomes New Urologist Onyishi

AdventHealth Sebring Medical Center Health Partners welcomes Dr. Sylvester Onyishi to their Urology Specialists practice, providing high-quality medical management, diagnosis, and treatment of urology conditions, diseases, and disorders. Sylvester Onyishi, MD, earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, where he also completed his internship in general surgery. He then completed his residency in urology at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Dr. Onyishi has been published in medical journals and is a member of the American Urological Association. He volunteered for the Student National Medical Association at the student-run clinic Clinica Esperanza in Tennessee, where he organized programs to help overweight and obese children and teenagers with weight loss. In his spare time, Dr. Onyishi enjoys hiking, weightlifting, and tennis. He and his wife are also avid movie buffs. His specialties include enlarged prostate, erectile dysfunction, kidney cancer, kidney stones, overactive bladder, pelvic floor prolapse, penile cancer, prostate cancer, prostate health index (PHI), testicular cancer, urinary tract infections (UTI), urothelial cancer, voiding dysfunction - adult and pediatric, urinary incontinence, impotence, urologic cancer, and infertility.
