AdventHealth Sebring Expands Use of Online Scheduling for Added Patient Convenience

Patients requiring a lab test or a screening mammogram at AdventHealth Sebring, Lake Placid, or Wauchula can now schedule those appointments through the hospitals' websites. The use of online scheduling is one of many steps these three hospitals and the rest of AdventHealth are taking to actively engage patients in their care through the use of technology.

"Technology-enabled self-scheduling meets our community's expectations of a convenient experience," said Bruce Bergherm, President and CEO of AdventHealth Sebring.

Online scheduling allows patients to schedule their appointment whenever and wherever they have access to a computer. Once scheduled, patients will receive a confirmation email with preparation instructions tailored to their appointment. When they arrive for their appointment, the care team is prepared for their visit.
