Ball recognized with Extra Mile Award

Christina Ball was awarded Gordon Hospitals prestigious Extra Mile Award. Ball is the coding lead in medical records and was nominated for her diligent work ethic and commitment to the hospital.

This special award was created by members of the hospitals Employee Engagement Committee to recognize employees who go above and beyond the call of duty on a regular basis. It is awarded monthly to deserving employees selected by the hospitals directors.

I am honored to receive this award, said Ball, who has been employed by Gordon Hospital for eight years. I love my job, and my co-workers are amazing. We work very hard to meet our deadlines.

Outside of her profession, Ball enjoys reading and going hiking. She has three daughters and one son, and she enjoys watching them participate in their extracurricular activities such as band and sports.
