Bergeron has lived in New Smyrna Beach since 1977 and brings more than 30 years of experience in public relations, nonprofit leadership, and economic development. She currently serves as the city’s Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and Economic Development Director.

“Growing up here, I know how much it means for people to have dependable care without traveling far,” Bergeron said. “Serving on the Foundation Board is a way to help ensure those resources remain strong for the community I call home.”

She has also been involved with AdventHealth for 8 years, serving on the hospital’s Finance Committee and supporting the Foundation’s mission

Beyond her professional work, she volunteers with the Edgewater-Smyrna Beach Elks Lodge #1557 and the Upward Trend Academy Foundation.

“With her deep roots in New Smyrna Beach and wealth of experience, Samantha brings an invaluable perspective,” said Cindi Flanagan, chair of the AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach Foundation. “Her guidance will be instrumental as we help shape the future of our hospital and continue to provide excellent care for our community for generations to come.”
