FLAGLER and VOLUSIA COUNTIES, Fla., April 24, 2018 Paula Daniel has been selected to serve as director of clinical oncology for the Florida Hospitals in Volusia and Flagler counties.
In this role, Daniel is responsible for managing and overseeing the clinical operations of the cancer services at Florida Hospital DeLand in DeLand, Florida Hospital Fish Memorial in Orange City, Florida Hospital Flagler in Palm Coast, Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center in Daytona Beach, and Florida Hospital New Smyrna in New Smyrna Beach.
Daniel has nearly 25 years of experience, 20 of which has been with Florida Hospital. She most recently served as director of nursing for oncology and medicine services at Florida Hospital Orlando and was responsible for the clinical operations of the inpatient medical oncology units, bone marrow transplant unit, and shared oversight of the outpatient infusion center.
An Altamonte Springs resident, Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. In addition, she has earned the Certified Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Nurse (CPHON) designation from the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation.
