NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla., January 22, 2018 On Jan. 15, the Fraternal Order of Eagles New Smyrna-Edgewater Ladies Auxiliary donated $6,000 to support the Parkinsons programs at the Florida Hospital New Smyrna.
We are extremely grateful for this generous donation, said Marlene Thomas, Florida Hospital New Smyrna administrator. This funding provides us the opportunity to purchase a testing and training tool for our outpatient rehabilitation services. It will offer the broadest range of treatment options for our patients that struggle with conditions that effect their balance and limit agility, such as those with Parkinsons disease.
