NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla., September 28, 2016 Board certified general surgeon Dr. Rebecca Gill has joined the Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners medical staff at Florida Hospital New Smyrna.
Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners is the employed group of more than 160 primary care physicians and specialists for the Florida Hospitals in Volusia and Flagler counties.
As a general surgeon, Gill has a special interest in minimally invasive hernia repairs and gallbladder removals, as well as breast surgery and biopsies.
She received a Bachelor of Arts in molecular, cellular and developmental biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Gill earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and completed her residency at Saint Louis University School of Medicine in Missouri.
She earned Hidden Scar Certification (known as Oncoplastic Breast Surgery) and is Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
