Jaco Promoted to AdventHealth VP Patient Care Services

AdventHealth Sebring Medical Center is pleased to announce that Cathy Jaco has been promoted to the role of Vice President Patient Care Services effective July 9, 2017, where she currently serves as Director of Quality Services. Jaco has more than 20 years of experience in quality, performance improvement, and patient safety. She has served as the Chief Operating Officer for two federally-designated Quality Improvement Organizations in Missouri and Indiana, Executive Director of Quality for the University of New Mexico Hospital, and later as the Director of Quality for a private healthcare system in Burlington, Iowa before joining AdventHealth in January 2015. She holds a masters degree in nursing, as well as three certifications in health care quality, healthcare accreditation, and patient safety. She has a passion for teaching others about the significance of quality improvement; having taught courses to physicians and nursing leaders. She is a member of numerous committees on patient safety and performance improvement, most recently serving on the AdventHealth Patient Safety Academy curriculum development team.
