star Wars Day at AdventHealth for Children
The Force was strong at AdventHealth for Children. To celebrate May the 4th, Orlando native Ashley Eckstein, author and actress, most known as the voice of Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars: Rebels and Star Wars: The Clone Wars, paid a special visit to read to patients and gift them a copy of her book, Star Wars Everyday.
“For me personally, Star Wars represents hope. And, especially if you’re here in the hospital, everyone needs a little bit of hope,” Eckstein said. “When I walk in and I get to share my love of Star Wars with the patients and just see them light up, it’s the best feeling in the world.”
