NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla., November 3, 2017 Florida Hospital New Smyrna has selected Dianna Grossholz to serve as manager of cardiopulmonary services.
In this role, Grossholz is responsible for overseeing a team of respiratory therapists, nurses, sonographers, and an exercise specialist, as well as electroencephalogram (EEG) and electrocardiogram (EKG) technicians for both inpatient and outpatient care.
Grossholz has been a nurse for more than 30 years and has specialized in the intensive care unit (ICU), trauma services, cardiac catheterization and cardiac rehabilitation.
She most recently served as cardiopulmonary rehabilitation coordinator for the 112-bed New Smyrna Beach hospital. In this role, she was responsible for providing a safe environment for patients to exercise under medical supervision and monitoring, as well as teaching patients the disease processes involved in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.
A Port Orange resident, Grossholz was born and raised in Florida. She is a graduate of Daytona State College.
