Gordon Hospital, a member of Adventist Health System, is pleased to announce that Chad Smith, MD, has joined the Calhoun and Chatsworth offices of Northwest Georgia Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Dr. Smith is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and fellowship-trained in sports medicine and arthroscopy.
A graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Smith completed his orthopedics internship and residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga at Erlanger Medical Center. He then completed a sports medicine and arthroscopy fellowship at the Orthopaedic Research of Virginia.
Dr. Smith is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is a member of the American Medical Association.
Dr. Smith resides in Ringgold, Georgia, with his wife, Lisa. His three children are Aaron, Hannah, and Justus. Outside of his profession, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
