VOLUSIA AND FLAGLER COUNTIES, Fla., October 4, 2016 On Sept. 25, hundreds of motorcyclists traveled from Flagler County to Volusia County in an effort to raise both funds and awareness in the fight against breast cancer.
The event began at Florida Hospital Flagler and riders traveled together from the Palm Coast hospital to Bruce Rossmeyer's Daytona Harley-Davidson at Destination Daytona in Ormond Beach for a Pink Army flag raising party.
Presented by Bright House Networks and organized by Iron Order Motorcycle Club, the second annual Pink Army motorcycle ride supports the foundations for the six Florida Hospitals in Volusia and Flagler counties. The funds raised by this event will help local women in need detect breast cancer earlier through mammograms, ultrasounds, biopsies and education.
