Amitra Caines, MD

Amitra Caines, MD, FACC, is a Board-Certified Cardiologist specializing in cardiovascular disease. She provides expert heart care for patients ages 18 and older and is known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach. Dr. Caines loves that Cardiology is a healing art where her interventions bring visible improvements to patients’ quality of life. She is passionate about guiding patients throughout their journey and finds it deeply rewarding when they experience physical healing. Dr. Caines earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois Chicago Medical Center, followed by a Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at the University of Florida Jacksonville.

In her free time, Dr. Caines enjoys cooking, traveling, visiting amusement parks, and spending time at the beach.

Dr. Caines’ care is centered on careful listening, clear communication, and partnering with each patient to create a personalized plan for heart health. Whether managing chronic conditions or preventing future problems, her goal is to help patients feel better, live longer, and enjoy life to the fullest.
