Amruta Pandit, MD

Amruta Pandit, MD, is double board-certified in internal medicine and obesity medicine. Dr. Pandit provides a broad spectrum of adult primary care for acute illnesses like respiratory infection and urinary tract infection; chronic disease management of diabetes and hypertension. She can also help screenings, vaccinations and women’s health exams. Dr. Pandit also specializes in complex medical issues and preventive care. She received training in evidence-based management of obesity to help patients reach and maintain a healthy weight. As a dedicated internist, she focuses on comprehensive care of older adults with the goal that patients age with dignity and support.

Dr. Pandit strongly believes in involving patients in their health and being their biggest champion and advocate, forming strong relationships of mutual trust with her patients. She is dedicated to providing equitable care for all, regardless of gender, ethnicity and socio-economic status.

Dr. Pandit earned her medical degree at Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences in Bellary, India. She completed her internal medicine residency at Morristown Medical Center in New Jersey.

When not at work, Dr. Pandit enjoys cooking, hiking and spending time with her family. She is fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi.
