Angela Furst, APRN

Angela Pippins Furst, APRN, is a gerontological acute care nurse practitioner with over 15 years of nursing experience. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chipola College in Marianna, Florida. Angela cared for patients at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare in intensive care, neurosurgery and post-anesthesia recovery and at Select Specialty Hospital in Tallahassee, where she treated complex medical and surgical cases in a long-term acute care setting. She also worked in primary care at Tallahassee Primary Care Associates and began her career at Bay Medical Center and Gulf Coast Medical Center in Panama City. Angela brings deep experience caring for adults and older adults with complex and critical needs.

My personal interests include spending time with my husband, daughter and our long-haired tortoise feline, Lola. We love the outdoors and experiencing nature. I enjoy the arts, thrifting, making new connections with people, and spending time with those I love the most.

I am committed to empowering and educating each patient through compassionate, evidence-based care. I believe that healing begins with understanding, and I take time to ensure that every individual feels heard, supported, and informed throughout their journey. By combining clinical expertise with a personalized approach, I strive to not only treat the condition but to care for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.
