Ashley Althoff, DO

Ashley Althoff, DO, is a colorectal surgeon. Dr. Althoff earned her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, FL, and completed a general surgery residency at the University of Connecticut in Farmington, CT. She originally joined AdventHealth in 2023 when she was awarded an ACGME colorectal surgery fellowship, and now joins the organization permanently. She is the author of numerous presentations, research publications and peer-reviewed articles.

When I’m not caring for patients, you’ll usually find me with my two dogs, in the kitchen cooking or baking, or out for a run. I enjoy staying active, and I love trying new recipes just as much as I love a good workout.

I believe every patient deserves to be cared for as if they were part of my own family. My approach is to look at the whole person, not just the medical condition, so that all concerns are heard and addressed. I value open and honest communication, and I work closely with each patient to create a treatment plan that feels right for them. My goal is for every patient to leave our visit with their questions answered, a clear understanding of their care, and the confidence that they are not alone on this journey.
