Aung Tun, MD

Dr. Aung Tun, MD, FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of complex cardiovascular conditions. He earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine in Yangon, Myanmar, and later completed his internship, residency, and cardiology fellowship at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Tun is double board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, placing in the top tenth percentile nationally. He specializes in pacemaker and defibrillator implantation, arrhythmia management, heart failure therapy, and the treatment of coronary and valvular heart disease, as well as venous disorders. Dr. Tun is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the Heart Rhythm Society of America.
