Daniela Trelles, MD

Daniela Trelles, MD, is a double board-certified pulmonologist specializing in pulmonary and critical care. She treats patients ages 18 and older and is fluent in both English and Spanish. She is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both pulmonary disease and internal medicine. Dr. Trelles earned her medical degree from the University of Cuenca. She then completed her residency in categorical internal medicine from AMITA Health Saint Francis Hospital and her pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship from Cleveland Clinic Florida. Dr. Trelles felt called to pulmonary care because of its vital role in patients' health. After witnessing the impact compassionate care can have on a patient, she knew this was the right path for her. She finds it very rewarding to guide patients through various conditions toward a better quality of life. She understands that each patient is unique and remains attentive to their concerns, fears and health goals. She strives to provide her patients with clear, understandable information about their conditions and treatment options, empowering them to manage their health and make informed decisions.

In her free time, Dr. Trelles enjoys spending time with her family, visiting new places and remaining a lifelong learner.
