Jason Harrison, MD, PhD, FAANS is a board-certified neurosurgeon serving adults of all ages in Rome and Northwest Georgia. According to Dr. Harrison, being a neurosurgeon is both humbling and rewarding. He is honored by the privilege to navigate the intricacies of the human brain and spine, coupled with the opportunity to improve his patients’ lives through surgical intervention.
Dr. Harrison is a graduate of the University of South Alabama in Mobile. He completed his residency in neurosurgery at the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond where he served as chief resident. Dr. Harrison also completed an enfolded spine fellowship at the Virginia Commonwealth University. He is board-certified in neurosurgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
