Maria Altare, APRN, is a board-certified advanced practice registered nurse. Maria earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Radford University and Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University in Washington. She also holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Universidad El Bosque in Bogotá, Colombia. She has advanced training in critical care, urgent care, and primary care settings, including multisystem, neuroscience intensive care as well as outpatient practice. She is also trained in telehealth, providing virtual and onsite acute and primary care services. Her clinical specialties include family medicine, occupational health and chronic disease management. Maria has enjoyed volunteering and mentoring nursing students and is fluent in Spanish.
