Matthew S. Irwin, DO, FAAOS

Matthew S. Irwin, DO, FAAOS, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon providing care to patients ages 5 and older. Growing up, Dr. Irwin developed a love for science and anatomy. As he got older, he was drawn to the field of medicine, specifically surgery, due to his desire to help others and his passion for learning new things. Dr. Irwin earned two master’s degrees, one in biomedical sciences from Barry University and another in medical education from Lake Erie College. He completed his medical degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by a general surgery internship at Naval Medical Center and an orthopedic surgery residency at Millcreek Community Hospital. Dr. Irwin is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery, has held various leadership positions for over two decades and served in the U.S. Navy as a flight surgeon.

In his free time, Dr. Irwin enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and watching sports.
