Mirana Jean, APRN

Mirana Jean, APRN, is an advanced practice registered nurse who provides primary care to patients ages 5 and up. As part of her practice, she performs annual wellness exams, helps patients manage chronic diseases and conducts school and sports physicals. Mirana speaks English and Haitian Creole. Mirana was called to medicine because she wanted to make a difference in people's lives. After personal experience with an illness in the family as a child, she made a promise to herself to pursue a career in medicine to take care of others and her community. She strives to be a good listener who helps her patients work towards achieving and maintaining stable health and well-being. Mirana earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on family nurse practitioner studies from St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, Florida. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and holds various licenses, including Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. In her free time, Mirana enjoys cooking, traveling - especially to her favorite vacation spot the Bahamas - and watching reality TV and movies.
