Samineh Sehatbakhsh, MD, FACC, FSCAI

Samineh Sehatbakhsh, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist specializing in percutaneous coronary interventions, structural heart disease, treating valvular heart disease, left atrial appendage closure, patent foramen ovale and atrial septal defect. Dr. Sehatbakhsh is board-certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular medicine, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and internal medicine.

Dr. Sehatbakhsh earned her medical degree at Birjand University of Medical Science and completed an internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the University of Miami. She extended her expertise with postgraduate training in interventional cardiology and structural heart disease at Montefiore Medical Center.

An accomplished researcher and experienced speaker, Dr. Sehatbakhsh has presented her published research and manuscripts covering a variety of medical topics. She is also an active member of numerous national medical organizations, including the American College of Physicians and the American College of Cardiology.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Sehatbakhsh enjoys traveling, swimming, cooking and listening to music.

Fluent in English and native in Farsi, Dr. Sehatbakhsh enjoys building strong relationships with patients of all backgrounds. She chose a career in interventional cardiology and structural heart disease care out of a scientific interest in this branch of heart medicine and the leading-edge technologies that make tangible differences in her patients’ lives.
