Zarmina Mufti, MD

Zarmina Mufti, MD is a board-certified neurologist with specialized expertise in headache disorders, epilepsy, movement disorders, and neuroimaging. She earned her medical degree from Frontier Medical College in Abbottabad, Pakistan, graduating in the top 5% of her class. She completed her neurology residency at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, where she served as both Chief Neurology Resident and Wellness Chief Resident. Dr. Mufti then pursued advanced fellowship training in headache medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Passionate about resident wellness and mentorship, she founded wellness and peer mentorship programs during her residency and continues to advocate for these initiatives. An active voice in the headache and migraine care community, Dr. Mufti is dedicated to improving patient outcomes and advancing education in her field. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with her family.
