ORLANDO, Fla. - AdventHealth Corporate Care Orlando marked National First Responders Day on Tuesday, Oct. 28, with a heartfelt event honoring the heroes who are first on the scene during emergencies.
Recognizing the critical role of first responders, AdventHealth Corporate Care Orlando has built a strong relationship with this community, demonstrating its commitment to whole-person care for both first responders and employees.
The facility features a display of flags representing various first responder agencies, a dedicated break room for police, fire, and corrections officers, and other meaningful elements designed to honor their service. These spaces serve as a tribute to their contributions and are designed to support their well-being—body, mind, and spirit.
“We serve first responders and employees from many different companies,” said Dr. Evan Lowe, medical director of AdventHealth Corporate Care Orlando. “It’s our pleasure to support first responders and employees in maintaining their health and building fulfilling careers—from the moment they’re hired through retirement.”
The location’s skilled team provides specialty occupational health care tailored to employer needs and manages an array of offerings. Services include fire, police and corrections exams, executive and complex physicals, travel medicine, drug testing, health screenings and more.
“We evaluate employees from head to toe, making sure they’re in excellent health. We care for them as if they were part of our own family,” said Dr. Lowe. “This event is our way of giving thanks to the community and to our first responders for keeping all of us, and our families, safe.”
The celebration featured a complimentary taco bar, an ice cream food truck and giveaways for attendees. This year’s gathering was the second annual event honoring emergency personnel across Central Florida, underscoring the vital role first responders play in protecting and serving the community.
AdventHealth Corporate Care remains dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of employees and those who serve the community. Through specialized occupational health services, the organization helps ensure first responders and employees stay strong, healthy, and ready to meet the demands of their roles.
