Foot and ankle surgeon Dr. Shreya Gupta has joined AdventHealth Medical Group and is now caring for patients at AdventHealth DeLand.
As part of AdventHealth Medical Group, she joins a network of nearly 450 specialists across Flagler, Lake and Volusia counties. The group continues to grow and added nearly 80 new physicians and advanced practitioners last year to meet the community’s rising need for care.
She works alongside Dr. Zachary Cavins and Dr. Kale Meeks to help patients remain active and independent, treating everything from everyday foot pain and sports injuries to complex surgical needs.
“Our feet carry us through life’s journeys — from morning walks to family milestones. My role as a surgeon is to help people stay on that path without pain holding them back,” Gupta said.
For West Volusia residents, where one in four people are seniors, having access to this type of specialty care for feet and ankles can be the difference between staying engaged in community life or feeling limited. By addressing problems early and offering advanced surgical options when needed, Gupta helps people return to routines and activities they value most.
Dr. Thomas Scoggins, chief medical officer at AdventHealth DeLand, said her arrival strengthens a service many people rely on but often overlook until there’s a problem.
“Healthy feet and ankles are the foundation of an active life. Dr. Gupta is the kind of physician who helps people get back to what they love, whether that’s gardening, walking the dog, or chasing after grandkids,” Scoggins said.
Gupta is now seeing patients at AdventHealth Medical Group Foot and Ankle at DeLand, 1070 N. Stone Street. To schedule an appointment, please call Call386-943-3175.
