Marcy Cent is the new director of oncology services for the AdventHealth Georgia Market.
AdventHealth is pleased to announce the appointment of Marcy Cent, MBA, as director of oncology services for the Georgia Market. In this role, Cent leads the development and advancement of comprehensive cancer care programs, ensuring patients receive exceptional care close to home. She has been instrumental in the construction of the AdventHealth Cancer Pavilion in Rome, as well as additional strategies in Gordon and Murray Counties that will expand access and allow for the extension of care to patients and families who are looking for faith-based, whole-person care.
Cent brings more than 20 years of healthcare consulting experience, including over 12 years dedicated to building and enhancing oncology programs. Her expertise lies in providing strategic guidance and advisory support to physicians and hospital systems, helping them achieve business goals while implementing systemwide opportunities for growth and innovation.
Throughout her career, Marcy has served in key leadership roles, including 10 years as a team member at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Piedmont Healthcare. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Fairfield University and a Master of Business Administration from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
Originally from New York, Marcy has called Georgia home for the past 30 years, where she lives with her husband and two children. Her deep commitment to excellence and patient-centered care aligns with AdventHealth’s mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ and deliver compassionate, whole-person care to every patient.
