The Castle Rock community is celebrating a new chapter in women’s health care. AdventHealth Medical Group Midwifery and OB/GYN at Castle Rock recently welcomed community members for an open house event on September 25.
The clinic provides comprehensive care for adolescent through post-menopausal women, including pregnancy and prenatal services. The care team includes three experienced midwives, who together bring more than 15 years of collective experience. The team also includes experienced OB/GYN, Kenneth Kaplan, MD.
The clinic introduces a midwifery model that offers patients an alternative to traditional physician-only practices. Appointments are intentionally longer, allowing providers to build meaningful relationships with their patients, while midwives remain bedside during delivery to offer ongoing, compassionate support.
“Our midwifery office offers something special, the time and attention every woman deserves,” said Nicola Williams, practice manager for AHMG Midwifery and OB/GYN at Castle Rock. “Our providers are not only highly skilled, but they take the time to truly connect with each patient and ensure they have a voice in their care.”
Nicola said the clinic was created in response to a growing need for more personalized, patient-centered women’s health care in the Castle Rock area.
“We’re thrilled to be part of this community,” she shared. “The open house was a wonderful opportunity to meet our neighbors and introduce them to our team. We’re so thankful to everyone who came out, it was even more successful than we imagined!”
As the clinic settles into its new home, the team looks forward to building lasting relationships with patients and families.
“We’re a collaborative, family-oriented practice,” Williams said. “When you come here, you’re treated like family.”
