CHATSWORTH, Ga. — AdventHealth Murray has been named a Top General Hospital by The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit organization widely respected as the gold standard in evaluating hospital safety and quality. This recognition honors AdventHealth Murray’s deep commitment to delivering whole‑person, high‑quality care to the communities it serves.
The Top Hospital designation is one of the most competitive awards a hospital in the United States can receive. Fewer than 5% of hospitals nationwide meet Leapfrog’s rigorous standards for excellence, which focus on safety outcomes, evidence‑based care practices, and a culture of transparency. AdventHealth Murray is the only Georgia hospital to be recognized as a Leapfrog Top General Hospital in 2025.
"Our number one priority is to provide the highest level of care to our patients and their families," said Justin Birmele, president and CEO of AdventHealth Murray. "This recognition confirms the exceptional work our caregivers do to create a safe, healing environment where every patient feels cared for and supported."
The Leapfrog Group evaluates hospitals on more than two dozen national performance measures, including infection rates, surgical safety, and leadership practices. Hospitals that meet these elevated benchmarks demonstrate a sustained focus on doing what is safest and best for patients.
For the Chatsworth community and surrounding region, this recognition reinforces AdventHealth Murray’s promise to provide compassionate, world‑class care close to home.
