Lisa Harvey accepts her SonShine Award for the warmth, faith and kindness she brings to the hospital each day.
CALHOUN, Ga. — AdventHealth Gordon is pleased to announce that Lisa Harvey, a member of the Environmental Services team, has been selected as the SonShine Award recipient for the fourth quarter of 2025. Harvey received three separate nominations for the award, each highlighting her remarkable compassion, uplifting spirit, and unwavering commitment to serving patients and fellow team members. Colleagues consistently describe her as someone who goes above and beyond in every interaction by offering encouragement, extending a helping hand, and frequently taking time to pray with those who need comfort or support.
“If you ever need a shoulder to lean on, a helping hand, or someone to pray for you, she is the one to find,” read one nomination.
Harvey is known not only for the quality and consistency of her work, but also for the warmth, faith and kindness she brings to the hospital each day. Her presence embodies the mission and values of AdventHealth, creating a healing and hope‑filled environment for all who enter.
The SonShine Award was created by the nursing and administration teams at AdventHealth Gordon and AdventHealth Murray to recognize team members who demonstrate extraordinary service and who Shine for the Son of God, spreading His kindness and love throughout their daily work. Recipients of the SonShine Award model compassion, support and commitment to whole‑person care.
AdventHealth Gordon congratulates Lisa Harvey on this well‑deserved honor and thanks her for her exceptional service to patients, visitors and team members.
