On Oct. 5, Palm Coast will turn pink as neighbors, families, and friends gather for the Pink Army 5K.
Hosted in partnership with the City of Palm Coast, the run/walk is more than a race — it’s a chance to celebrate survivors, honor loved ones, and raise critical funds for local cancer care. Every dollar goes directly to programs and services through the AdventHealth Palm Coast Foundation.
The morning includes a 5K, a one-mile pet-friendly walk, and Kids Fun Run.
Whether it’s an experienced runner chasing a personal best or a child crossing their first finish line, each step represents something bigger: fueling breast cancer awareness, supporting early detection, and strengthening access to care close to home.
Helping make the day possible are community partners, including Palm Coast–based Designs for Health, a longtime sponsor of the event. The company will be leading the hula loop warm up pre-race. Their support reflects how local businesses join residents in standing behind patients and families facing cancer.
“When you see hundreds of people moving together in pink, it’s not just a race,” said John Subers, executive director of the AdventHealth Palm Coast Foundation. “It’s a visible show of love and solidarity, and proof that our community won’t face cancer alone.”
Behind every bib number is a story — of survivorship, remembrance, or hope. Together, those stories form the heartbeat of a community that believes in standing strong against breast cancer.
The Pink Army 5K will take place on Sunday, Oct. 5 at 7:45 am at AdventHealth Palm Coast, 60 Memorial Medical Parkway in Palm Coast. For details or to register, visit https://runsignup.com/Race/FL/PalmCoast/pink5k.
