MANIFEST US Study Presented as a Late-Breaking Clinical Trial at AHA

The cardiovascular team is excited to highlight the MANIFEST US study, which was presented on November 10th as a Late-Breaking Clinical Trial at the American Heart Association (AHA) Scientific Sessions in New Orleans. The presentation was delivered by Dr. Naushad Shaik and his team, who represented AdventHealth on the national stage. Simultaneously, the full study manuscript was published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC), underscoring the significance of this landmark research.

This milestone reflects the collective efforts of electrophysiology teams across the country, and AdventHealth played an especially notable role. AdventHealth nationally enrolled close to 1,900 patients, making it one of the largest contributors to the study. Special recognition is extended to Dr. Sri Sundaram from Central Florida division, Dr. Yamamura from the West Florida Division, and Dr. Al Chekakie from AdventHealth Shawnee Mission for their exceptional leadership and commitment to advancing cardiovascular research.
