AdventHealth Manchester is proud to announce the upcoming launch of its innovative Virtual Care Smart Rooms, powered by HelloCare, a leading provider of AI-assisted virtual care solutions. This cutting-edge technology is set to transform the patient experience and streamline clinical workflows across our hospital system.
The Virtual Care Smart Rooms are designed to bring real-time, personalized care directly into the hospital room. Patients will be able to connect with their care teams through secure video consultations, view personalized health information on digital whiteboards, and stay engaged and informed throughout their stay. These enhancements aim to foster a more connected, transparent, and supportive healing environment.
For our clinical teams, this technology means improved communication, reduced administrative burden, and more time to focus on what matters most: caring for people. Features such as digital door signage, AI-enabled monitoring, and remote rounding capabilities will support safer, more efficient care delivery while enhancing collaboration among providers.
The rollout of this technology will begin in fall 2025, with full implementation expected by 2026. AdventHealth Manchester will be among the first in the region to adopt this level of smart room innovation.
“We’re excited to lead the way in redefining how care is delivered,” said James Nelson, DNP, RN, CCRN-K, NEA-BC, FACHE, Chief Medical Officer at AdventHealth Manchester. “This initiative reflects our commitment to whole-person care and our mission to help every patient feel seen, heard, and supported.”
Stay tuned for more updates as we prepare to activate this transformative technology across our hospital. Thank you to all our team members for your continued dedication to delivering exceptional care.
