AdventHealth Manchester is expanding access to specialized heart care with the addition of pediatric echocardiography services, giving families in Eastern Kentucky a local option for advanced, child-focused heart imaging. This service supports our mission to care for the whole person by meeting the unique needs of our youngest patients close to home.
A pediatric echocardiogram is a safe and noninvasive ultrasound that provides clear images of a child’s heart. It plays an important role in diagnosing and monitoring conditions such as congenital heart defects, genetic syndromes, Kawasaki disease and other pediatric heart concerns. Offering this service locally reduces travel burdens for families and helps children receive timely, compassionate care in a familiar setting.
